Join us at a spectacular event with Michele's delightful new collection, live music and wine.

“The South Coast Up Close” is a collection of brightly coloured oil paintings that capture life on the South Coast of New South Wales both above and below the waterline.  Colourful inhabitants of the rocky reefs such as blue-ringed octopus and weedy seadragons will share the walls beautiful birds found in coastal gardens.

After more than 30 years based in North Queensland, as a marine scientist with the Australian Institute of Marine Science researching on the Great Barrier Reef, Michele now lives in Gerroa pursuing her passion for painting.  Inspired by the fantastic creatures and amazing scenes that can be found along our glorious coastline, her bright hypo-realistic style is a celebration of colour in the natural world.

Michele’s philosophy is that art should bring pleasure to both the creator and the collector.  If it doesn’t make you feel good or take you to a happy place in your heart then don’t paint it or hang it on your wall.  Come along and see if you agree.
