Jane Wray
Rollercoaster
Framed original 900mm x 710mm, soft pastel.
This work was the beginning of my abstracted reality exploration. Although it captures the inner sanctum of a cave-like natural structure, it also curves and undulates in a free form as an abstract response to nature.

Blaze
Framed limited edition print of 25, 750mm x 960mm, soft pastel.
Whilst holidaying on the North Coast of NSW I found a lush leafy plant which was stunning. Seeking to recreate its drama I used a vibrant scarlet and purple in large areas of the work. The challenge was to get the scarlet off my hands! A messy colour indeed! This work was a finalist in The Pastel Of New Mexico international competition recently.
$790
