Title of work: Horizon
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Framed
Size: 106cm x 80cm
Techniques: I use a combination of Palette Knife & Traditional Brush Stroke Work, to achieve the desirable effects.
Stories: This painting was completed over a period of about 3 weeks. I carefully select and mix my own colours, combining this with a reflective plan for the composition, using multiple paint layering techniques. I like to paint in a semi-abstract style, which becomes an expression of a meditative and dreamlike state of consciousness.
Inspirations: My inspiration for painting seascapes comes from living on the South Coast.
