THE BUGLE

11 November 2021

In The Bugle today:

"The Terra Gallery in Terralong Street turned one year old as owner Izabella Venter opened the new exhibition by local artist Ken Tucker.

"We have been through hard times, but have survived", said Izabella, "and we are extra keen to continue to support our Illawarra artists"

Ken Tucker, who has been painting mostly abstracts for around 49 years, is always experimenting with mediums and themes. He thanked his wife Lea for her enduring support. "

More opening events are coming to Terra Gallery, we have a spectacular line-up of exhibitions and opening events scheduled in every two weeks. Ken's artworks are going to be displayed until the 14th November and the next opening night will be for Ann Rayment, on the 19th November, Friday from 6 pm with the usual red carpet, art-loving friends, live music and wine.

Please RSVP, free entry, everyone is welcome.

SUPPORT LOCAL CAMPAIGN

7th Aug 2021

"Izabella Venter of Terra Gallery (above) is one of the businesses suffering from the downturn, and she is keen to get behind the campaign. “We have had to cancel so many events and classes, and it is hard to know when that side of our business can open up again,” she says. “But our local artists keep producing fantastic new work so there is always something different to see here. “Artworks can make your home a happy place, and now’s a good time to fill the blank spaces and walls with some lovely local art.”
